1963 Motorcycle Article: Navy's Blue Angels "Fly" a Honda

America's famed precision flying team, the Blue Angels, has a new mascot...it's a Honda. The crack jet pilots have purchased the bike in what may be the first time a motorcycle has been consistently used as part of a military flight operation. The once bright red unit already has been painted with the Navy's blue and gold, and carries the Blue Angels' insignia. Flown around the world in the cargo ship assigned the team, the Honda will be used for field transportation and recreation at each Blue Angels' event... Photos: (Top) Lt. Bob Cowles (top), and Cmdr.
