1972 Honda 500 Four - "Smooth Mover"

Smooth is one of those words that has many meanings. All good. All captured by the Honda 500 Four. The ride's the most obvious. So smooth you almost have to run the 500 over railroad tracks to be sure you're moving. The telescopic forks in front and the lower cushioned seat have a lot to do with that, but so does the four cylinder engine. The mighty four-stroke OHC transversely mounted four delivers plenty of power with a minimum - and we mean minimum - of vibration. Smoothness certainly applies to the carburetion system. Positive control. One cable operates all four carbs so they always work together. Same type carburetion as on Honda racing bikes and the mighty 750...
