1969 Yamaha smashes 7 Daytona Records

250cc Class Event: Yvon duHamel broke his last year's record with a new time of 98.348 mph

200 Mile Time Trials: duHamel set a new lap time record of 150.501 mph

100 Mile Amateur Big Bike Race: Frank Camilliere broke last year's record with the fastest qualifying time of 134.831 mph.

78 Mile Novice Road Race: Mike Cone set a new 5-lap heat race record with a new speed of 93.530 mph.

100 Mile Amateur Big Bike Race: Ron Muir broke last year's record with his time of 96.100 mph for 100 miles.

Class 5 250cc Sportsmen Road Race: Gary Gordon set a new speed record of 90.469 mph.

Class 2 125cc Sportsmen Road Race: rudy Reynosa won the race with a new track record average speed of 63.713 mph.

For the fifth year in a row we dominated the 250cc class. We took 8 out of the first 10 in the Daytona 250cc 100 Mile Event. 19 out of the first 20 in the 78 Mile Novice Road Race. 9 out of the first 10 in the Daytona Sportsmen Lightweight Road Race. Took 6 out of first 12 places in the 200 Mile Classic against machines twice our size.
